 What a shame... [open]

Mothersound,
What have they done to you?
Once again the world's molested you
And took your soul.

"I chime in with a haven't you people ever heard of closing the goddamn door, no," sang Jake softly, shaking his head to get the pieces of black hair from his eyes. Once clear of vision, he saw two middleschool-aged girls checking him out from the corner of his eye, their faces looking awed.
Sorry girls, I like boys. He thought, then laughed outloud at the thought.
Jake looked over and gave the girls a smile, then contuined walking down the middle of the mall pathway. He ran his hand along the blue railing, feeling the cold and slippery surface, and checked himself over in an awkwardly placed mirror which was hanging outside of a store entrance.
Outfit of the day: ripped girls' jeans and a tight black From First To Last shirt, with a Jack Skellington zip up hoodie over it. Percisley matched pink converse and pink nailpolish completed his wear for the day, and Jake smoothed down his black and newly dyed purple hair self-conciously. Who was he to say he didn't care what people thought of him? Actually, he cared a lot. Anyone that claimed they didn't care were just kidding themselves, because he knew for a fact that no one wanted to look like shit infront of a group of people, even if you hated them.
Someting shiny and metallic caught his eye, and he turned his head sideways to see what it was.
A bench painted bright silver was resting up against the blue railing, looking so comforting that Jake walked quickly over to where it was. He was tired from getting no sleep last night and his legs hurt, but not to sound whiny. A sigh emitted from him as Jake sat down, one skinny leg crossing over the other.
"What a beautiful wedding! says a bridesmaid to a waiter. Yes, what a shame..."

Ally sighed lightly, wondering what she was doing in a mall. No, she wasn’t here with anyone, why would she be? Ok, true, she was more of a social person, but she didn’t have anyone to be with. Or no one wanted to be hand out with her. But it wasn’t like she was stressing to find a new friend, she wasn’t even looking for one. At the moment, she truly didn’t mind being alone, though company wouldn’t be pushed away. Who would push company away, anyways? She surely wouldn’t. No, she liked to talk too much for that.

The female pulled up the back beltloop of her cutoff jeans, mumbling to herself about how they fell down. A pair of ripped, black fishnets were worn under the capris, they worked just fine with the plain, black Converses she wore. Laces had been changed long before to thin, red ones, but she had colored black lines on them. It wasn't normal for her not to change an outfit, no matter what it was. Like her jeans, for instance. They were cut off below the knee and she had made bondage pants out of them. Now they were better, for her, at least. A black tee shirt, with the sleeves wripped off, was what covered her upper bodice. In an orange spiral were the words 'One by one the penguins steal my sanity.' She loved the shirt, even if it may’ve been intended for one of the opposite sex. But that didn't matter to her: you couldn't tell. Ally didn't care if she wore a guy shirt, as long as she liked the shirt she'd wear it.

Two, generally thin arm-warmers covered her lower arms, her thumbs sticking out the holes in each. She usually covered her arms, despite the fact she had nothing to hide. She just liked arm-warmers. Especially the nearly see-through ones, though those always ended up getting ripped. The reason for them ripping was the fact they were light weight. They snagged easily. But that never truly bothered Ally, she’d just replace them. Actually, at the moment, there wasn’t much of any reason to replace them. She had a few pairs at home, ones that were still in their original packaging. Odd, wasn’t it? But, what can I say? She was odd. That was her excuse for having things she probably would never use. Yeah, like the many bottles of hair dye in her cabinets, many of the colors weren’t anything she planned on using. But that didn’t bother her. Who knows, she might want to dye her hair a lighter color, or change the highlights. But, anyways, that didn’t matter.

The female sighed lightly, brushing back a strand of her cheerful-colored hair. The colors were happy colors, you know, pastels. Well, near pastels. She could call the pink a pastel color, but the blue, well, she didn’t know about the blue. And the purple looked like cotton candy. The female snickered lightly, realizing her hair did look like cotton candy. Odd, yeah, pretty odd. She released the strand she had been playing with, dropping her hands to her pockets. The female neared a wall, leaning against it for a moment before lowering herself onto the cold floor of the mall. Yeah, she often sat on floors, even if there was a bench near by. That habit of hers always confused her, though she couldn’t mind it much. Yeah, there was a bench nearby this time. It was being occupied by a male, even though the female figured there’d be probably enough room for two on it. But that thought passed her mind after a moment. She didn’t care: the floor would be fine for now.

Jake yawned in the middle of singing the song, and he looked at his surroundings without much interest. His motivation for the mall had evaporated and sitting on the bench was giving him a headache, though he didn't know why. Maybe it was the kids that we're running around screaming, their parents chasing after them and swearing loudly and tripping.
One lady, he noticed with interest, was holding two toddlers by the hand and giving another a piggy back ride, while holding many shopping bags and pushing a stroller where a baby sat, crying. Her stomach jutted outward and around, it was obvious she was pregnant, but Jake thought that whoever was getting her pregnant deserves to be slapped in the face for the lack of use of condoms.
Those kids will be the death of her.
As the mother and the many children passed by and moved out of sight, the teenager stood up and stretched his cramped arm muscles. As he did this his t-shirt was pulled upward and showed part of his stomach, and he pulled it down, grinning but embarrassed. There was something about showing his stomach that made him uncomfortable, maybe it was 'cause he was really skinny, almost to the point where it was unhealthy.
Humming queitly Jake turned and almost tripped over someone who was sitting on the floor, her back resting on the railing. He tried to keep his balance but being very uncoordinated wasn't good on his part, and Jake went down, falling on the girl and letting out a little yelp.
"Ohmygosh I'm sooo sorry!" Cried the emo kid, jumping to his feet andd then bending down to see how much damage he had done to her.
"Are you okay?"

Ally sighed lightly, picking at her arm-warmer. Now there were kids running around. Kids? Uck, no, they didn't mix one bit with Ally. I mean really, who liked how they screamed and ran around and did shit like that. And they were happy all the time, well, at least not when they were crying. Uck, no, kids were annoying. She saw no point in having any. The only way she saw herself having any was, well, if she didn't mean to have any. If that made the remotest bit of sense. Her thoughts were interrupted by something...no, someone falling on her. She bit her lip, crossing her arms over her chest as he fell on her. Eyes looked the male over quickly, nodding her head slowly.

"Don't worry 'bout it, it was nothing."

She gave a small, little laugh, a slightly nervious tint added to it. Now, that was odd, well, not exactly the oddest, just unexpected. She hadn't expected to be fallen on, she hadn't expected to even be noticed.

"Yeah, actually I'm fine, thanks for asking."

Jake was relieved he hadn't broken any of her bones are anything, I mean it woudn't be the first time he had fallen on someone and seriously injured them. It was just that he was so tall - and I mean like 6'3 tall - sometimes it was hard to see little kids or people sitting on the ground.
He laughed to himself, remembering the one time Katie ran to him, crying because her stupid ex boyfriend just dumped her. Full of anger, Jake stomped toward's him, gave him an evil glare, and kicked him in the head with such force that he was thrown backwards.
Jake looked down at the person he had fallen on, blinked, and smiled.
"Hey, I dunno but, do you wanna chill er something? 'Cause I'm alone, and it looks like your alone and I dunno bout you but I'm really bored." He suggested, pulling up his tight pants which seemed to be slightly loose, though he hadn't noticed before that they were.

((sucky I know))

Biting her lip momentarily, Ally stood, tugging up her pants after doing so. No, they weren't exactly loose, she was just usually concerned some unwanted skin would be shown off. No, it wasn't smart to call her modest, just a little, well, I don't really know what to call her. She just didn't want to show off everything.

She smiled innocently at his offer, nodding abruptly. Chill or something? Well, that was a shit load better than anything she had been planning on doing. And, yeah, she was bored. But was that such a surprise?

"Yeah, that sounds like fun, well, more fun than anything I've figured I'd be doing."
